Guster gets out the vote

Adam Gardner of Guster took time out of his busy touring schedule on Monday to make a few phone calls on behalf of HeadCount, a nonpartisan voter registration group.

After the last presidential election, America took notice to how important it was to secure the young vote. Well, regardless of whether or not you plan to vote Republican or Democrat (or even Tea Party!), HeadCount and various musicians want to let you know that it’s important to vote.

Other musicians who will be making a few phone calls for HeadCount include Further’s Bob Weir, The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein, Willie Nelson, Warren Haynes and Jon Fishman.

The people who receive calls will be chosen randomly, but to be included in the pool you have to be registered for HeadCount’s “Pledge to Vote” campaign.
